Tragic demise of YSR

Certainly a person who has attracted magnonimous crowd of people during his last rituals is a successful leader. It being the day of ganesh nimarjan for which large crowds of people gather together and there will be no other works for that day, even the state government declares holiday on this eve every year to control traffic, there was only one person in the hearts of people, the YSR. Almost every one was sticked to the telivision channels showing the news of his tragic accident and last journey. His residence was thronged with people. May the god has given him an untimly death in a tragic way but the respect he recieved during his last journey, even abeying the ganesh chaturdi utsav, giving him the precedence over the god, was the greatest achievment in his life.It really made him the hero of Andhra Pradesh and he will be remembered atleast for the next 10 decades.Cirtainly YSR has created a history. His name will be written in golden words in the books of history.

He is the one person who surpassed the TDPs monopoly in AP state politics and brought Congress into power.Initially most of the policies he implemented were direct take from Chandrababu Naidues ideas with names changed. But Free Power to farmers,Jala Yagnam,Arogyasri ,Pension Scheem were his new ideas implimented for the welfare of society. The most apprised 108 services were also started during his regeim.Because of these he is the most revered politician today.Every one could see the last 6 years of his successfull life, but very a few realise that there are other 54 years in his life and atleast 30 years of his political career which he struggled. The final royal status he owns today is a result of tremoundus struggle for over 30 years. He enjoued the fruits of his hardwork only for a short duration.I hope and wish his sole gets peace.

Petro Prices

I like the idea of leaving the prices of petroleum products to be decided by global market. It should be some thing like gold prices. They vary daily based on current market price.

Its very welcome idea when the gloabal prices are low,but when the prices are at high levels definetly there should be some control on them by the government. But is this possible.

Liberahan commission report is out

Justice Liberahan who was appinted to investigate on Babri Masjid demolition case submitted his report after 16 years. The report should be put on table in parliament and should be open for discussion.
My openion: Even if any one of the accused ina any case should be punished the longest term for which he can be punished is 14 years. If a court case goes for such a long duration,by the time the verdict is out the accused might have already undergone his punishment. But in case the accused is found not guilty then I could not imagine the suffering which he has undergone. All his 14 years of crucial life time is lost in prison. why do we allow such cases to prolong to such an extent.Do we need some thing like SLA(Service Level Agreement) to close the cases/commission reports in specified time limits.
The point to be noted in this Liberahan comission report is the time line given to the commission to submit its report was initially 3 months.

Unique Identification Number

Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of the author is to brief the new initiative taken by UPA government,Unique Identification Number, for which Infosys co-founder Nandan Nelekhani will be heading.
Summary:
US has this unique identification in the form of Social Security number.Author explains the in India also we need something similar to it.One identification should be suffice for bank transactions, voter identification, ration cards, income tax etc.
While we have started a god initiative it is also important to see that this will be usefull in these areas, otherwise the primary purpose of the initiative will be lost and more over this will become a overhead. It is also important to ensure that the liberty of the public is not lost.
